How has Brexit vote affected the UK Escort Industry?

The cost of escort services in London have fallen unexpectedly as uncertainty around Brexit dampens activity, according to Oriental Girlfriend’s (OGFE) World Escort Price Comparison Index.

OGFE recorded a 14 per cent fall from the previous year, and a decrease of 25% from the Autumn of 2016, immediately following the referendum, in which 51.9% of UK residents voted to leave the EU.

Compared with September last year, the average hourly escort price across the UK fell by 14 per cent to £180. But the average price per hour of an Asian escort service in Britain is £156 per hour.

That is a 3% decrease on the last survey 12 months ago and 13% less than the average price per hour of an escort service in Britain

The original survey, carried out by Oriental Girlfriend, the London based Asian escort and massage service, is based on data from 5,000 escorts from 100 cities in 25 countries. The UK ranks in the top five most expensive countries in the world.

The average price per hour of an escort service in Britain is £180 per hour. Only Australia (£220), Austria (£235), Russia (£260) and Switzerland (£290) are more expensive.

“Escort prices across Europe are down,” said SAG CEO Kendy Candy. “In the UK Brexit is affecting the escort industry. A lot of EU nationals, who were involved in the UK industry pre- referendum, have since left, largely because they have concerns that they may no longer have the automatic right to live and work in the UK.

“If it becomes more difficult to move to the UK legally, this may cause a reduction in the number of escorts coming from European countries.”
